Our History
Although new to Canada, Kawar has a rich history in trade relations worldwide. A three-generation organization, The Kawar Group of Companies was originally founded by Amin K. Kawar in Amman Jordan.
Mr. Kawar was a young Pharmacist who discovered phosphate and established the first Jordanian mining company in 1933. In 1955 he established a maritime shipping company, which over the years expanded to be involved in many fields including logistics, Travel, IT and health care.
Amin Kawar, Founder of Kawar Canada and grandson of the “original” Amin Kawar, emigrated to Canada several years ago where he was a private consultant to companies looking to expand their borders. Realizing the potential of the increasing marketplace and his value as a trusted trade facilitator, Amin has officially opened Kawar Canada as an independent consulting company and as the North American branch of the Kawar Group of companies.
